Soccer Field Grant Program
FC Cincinnati Foundation is committed to improving children's lives through soccer. Mini pitches, or small-sided soccer fields, have been important in our work to expand access to soccer and provide a safe place for children to play and learn. Soccer fields and minipitches serve as gathering spaces—bringing people together, inspiring lifelong participation, and creating opportunities for youth to thrive both on and off the field. FC Cincinnati Foundation is now offering a Soccer Field Grant Program that will provide funds to selected organizations opening mini pitches or soccer fields in our community.Â
FC Cincinnati Foundation grants may be awarded to various organization types, including non-profits, recreation centers, schools, and for-profit organizations that demonstrate a plan for community access that welcomes players of all ages and abilities.
The FC Cincinnati Foundation Soccer Field Grant Program is designed to serve as a supporting partner, providing partial funding for projects including new soccer fields, minipitches, and other field-related improvements. All proposals must demonstrate a commitment to inclusive use and long-term benefit for the surrounding community.
Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee funding, and the Foundation expects to receive more requests than available resources allow. Applicants are encouraged to review the full application guidelines before applying and to consider how their project aligns with the Foundation’s mission to grow the game through access, equity, and community engagement.
Grant applications are reviewed twice annually, with application deadlines of May 31 and November 30. FC Cincinnati Foundation intends to finalize determinations in July and January of each year. While a pledge may be communicated to selected projects in this timeframe, the grant will not be provided until the project is fully funded.
