The FC Cincinnati Foundation Soccer Unites In-School & After-School programs works with local schools, recreation centers, and camps to bring soccer programming to students among the Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky area.

In-School Programming

In-school programming is led by Omar Cummings, former FC Cincinnati player and current Club Ambassador. Omar and FCCF staff members introduce soccer skills to students through warmups, games, and scrimmages during P.E. class. The program usually runs one day a week for 4 weeks. After the program is complete the Foundation will provide soccer equipment and FCC playbooks to participating schools, so they can continue soccer education programming throughout the year.

After-School Programming

The FC Cincinnati Foundation partners with Activities Beyond the Classroom, Boys & Girls Club of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Recreation Commission, and YMCA of Greater Cincinnati to run after school programming at various locations. Programming will be run 1-2 times a week for 6-8 weeks per session (2 sessions per year: Fall & Spring). Each 45-75-minute session will be led by an FCCF trained coach. Each week, a new soccer skill and a character attribute is introduced and integrated into the session. Coaches incorporate the skill and attributes of the week during warmups, soccer drills, scrimmages, and group discussions.
