The Young Garys of the FC Cincinnati Academy compiled an impressive 5-1-1 record across seven games in cold conditions this weekend. The U13 and U14 squads traveled south to face Javanon FC, while the U15s and U17s played back-to-back days against the academies of Sporting Kansas City and Minnesota United. The U19s faced Indiana Fire Academy and then took the field for an exhibition on Sunday.

U13 | Javanon FC 1, FC Cincinnati Academy 1
Luis McVicker scored for the U13s in a deadlock in Greater Louisville.
U14 | Javanon FC 1, FC Cincinnati Academy 3
The U14s took home a decisive win with goals from Ezequiel Bautista, Will Kuisel and Brian Martinez.
U15 | FC Cincinnati Academy 1, Sporting Kansas City Academy 2
Taylor Cogan scored the lone goal for the U15 squad, assisted by Sam Weeter.
U17 | FC Cincinnati Academy 2, Sporting Kansas City Academy 1
A Sam Divis brace led the U17 Orange and Blue to a strong win over the Sporting Kansas City Academy.
U19 | FC Cincinnati Academy 2, Indiana Fire Academy 0
Daniel Samways and Josh Head each scored as the U19s took a home shutout win over the Indiana Fire Academy. Paul Walters recorded the clean sheet in goal.
Sunday, March 27
U15 | FC Cincinnati Academy 4, Minnesota United Academy 0Â
The U15s earned a strong and decisive 4-0 win over Minnesota United on Sunday, bouncing back from Saturday’s loss. Shaun Dickerson tallied a brace while Brice Denigan and Taylor Cogan each scored. Cooper Wiseman and Zach Stevens protected the goal for the clean sheet.
U17 | FC Cincinnati Academy 5, Minnesota United Academy 1
Isaac Calderon recorded an impressive hat trick to lead the U17s to their second win in as many days and a rout of Minnesota. Sam Divis added another goal to bring his weekend total to three, and Nick McHenry also scored.
In an exhibition, the U19 squad defeated Minnesota United Academy, 4-1.
