CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati and the Hoxworth Blood Center are joining forces this week for a series of blood drives in the Cincinnati region.

During Hoxworth’s FC Cincinnati Week from Monday, August 6 through Saturday, August 11, each person who donates blood at a Hoxworth Blood Drive will receive a complimentary FC Cincinnati white t-shirt ahead of Sunday’s “White Out” game against Penn FC.

Additionally, FC Cincinnati players will make appearances at three of the center’s FC Cincinnati drive locations this week:

Tuesday, Aug. 7 at MadTree Brewing Taproom (3301 Madison Rd., Cincinnati): Nazmi Albadawi, Michael Lahoud
Wednesday, Aug. 8 at Hoxworth Blue Ash (9708 Kenwood Rd., Cincinnati): Tyler Gibson, Kenney Walker
Thursday, Aug. 9 at Hoxworth Central (3130 Highland Ave., Cincinnati): Sem De Wit, Matt Bahner
While a limited number of walk-ins are welcome at each donation location this week, FCC fans are encouraged to pre-register to ensure their desired time slot. Fans should note that the MadTree Brewing location is already fully pre-registered. | REGISTER: hoxworth.org/fcc

This is the second year of the partnership between FC Cincinnati and Hoxworth Blood Center.

“After last year’s successful drive with FC Cincinnati, we couldn’t wait to team up with Cincinnati’s celebrated soccer team for the second year in a row,” says Alecia Lipton, spokesperson for Hoxworth Blood Center. “We are so grateful to FC Cincinnati for supporting Hoxworth for another year, and for helping Hoxworth collect lifesaving blood donations for patients in our community.”

“One of our club’s goals is to be a leader in the community,” said Jeff Berding, FCC Cincinnati President and General Manager. “We believe there are few things more rewarding than donating life to help people, and that’s exactly what happens when our club and our extended FCC community participate in the FC Cincinnati blood drives with Hoxworth Blood Center. We’re thrilled to partner with Hoxworth again this year and help those in our community when they need it most.”

FC Cincinnati (13-3-6, 45 pts.) currently sits atop the USL standings with the top point total in the entire league. The team returns to action on Sunday, August 12, when it hosts Penn FC at 6 p.m. at Nippert Stadium. The game will be the team’s annual “White Out” game, and it will be televised on WSTR 64, streamed on ESPN+ and carried on the radio by ESPN 1530 AM.
