In the spirit of Black History Month this February, FC Cincinnati is not only celebrating, but also actively supporting the future leaders of tomorrow by investing in impactful community initiatives.
FC Cincinnati have once again partnered with the DAD Initiative (Directing Adolescent Development) to host their Black Futures event in support of their efforts to provide children, especially those of color, for a successful future by engaging students, families, and the communities they are a part of with quality programs, interactions, and experiences.
The event, taking place on February 2, will bring together over 300 teen students and provide opportunities to speak with 100 volunteer Black professionals to engage in candid conversations about their respective paths to success. The event will open with networking sessions before breaking out into small groups, followed by lunch provided by LaRosa's Pizza and a closing speaker to finish the day's festivities.
This event provides a valuable platform for Black professionals to connect with Black students, promoting the DAD Initiatives mission. Through acandid conversations, professionals can share their journeys to success, inspiring and guiding students in their own paths forward.
