Saturday night at TQL Stadium, FC Cincinnati continue its celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community with its Pride Night Match when they take on Charlotte FC. In addition to in-match activations including community leaders singing the national anthem and delivering the match ball, and specialty Pride merchandise including the on-field warm up top members of The Orange and Blue will wear will be available in the team store.
Before the match, FC Cincinnati invite all fans to join them for the official Pre-Match Party at Washington Park presented by Prolink . DJ Castle will be on the 1’s and 2’s, Procter & Gamble will host a Beautification Station and Photobooth and James Reynolds will host an Art Activation with Tie Dye Shirts. Food Trucks from Street Pops, Red Sesame and Jen’s Hot Tamales will also be present with booths from LGBTQIA organizations there to help with the festivities.
In the match, Elijah will sing the national anthem with Guest DJ Boywife spinning the vinyls. The Supporters Section in The Bailey will pop rainbow smoke and lift a TIFO prematch and the fins outside TQL Stadium will be illuminated in rainbow colors. Cincinnati Pride is also the community partner of the match.
Throughout the month of June FC Cincinnati and the FC Cincinnati Foundation visited several community gatherings and parades to help support and celebrate the community. Making visits to NKY Pride, Westwood Second Saturday, Batesville Pride, the Cincinnati Pride Parade and Festival and Dearborn County Pride Festival.
In addition to the on-field warm up top, the item of the match available in the team store is a signature pride scarf.
