FC Cincinnati Foundation hosts first Soccer Unites end of season celebration

Soccer Unites 11

A key focus area for FC Cincinnati Foundation is access and exposure to the sport of soccer. Soccer Unites, presented by Old Spice, has run since 2018 with former FC Cincinnati standout Omar Cummings visiting schools to introduce the sport to children.

With the growth of the program, an after-school arm was launched in Fall 2021 in which FC Cincinnati Foundation partners with local programs including Activities Beyond the Classroom, Boys & Girls Club, Cincinnati Recreation Commission and YMCA to extend its reach. Through the program, FC Cincinnati Foundation provides a curriculum and staff training along with equipment for locations and participants alike.

Earlier this month, FC Cincinnati Foundation hosted the first end of season celebration for the program, welcoming over 500 students to TQL Stadium. Through the support of P&G, First Financial Foundation, TQL Foundation and many others, hundreds of children will continue to play and grow in the game.
