FC Cincinnati unveiled their newest kit – the Canvas Kit – tonight at ADC Fine Art | West in the West End of Cincinnati. The Orange and Blue’s newest uniform replaces the orange Juncta Juvant Kit from the past two seasons and will be worn alongside the club’s blue primary River Kit worn last season.
ABOUT THE CANVAS KIT
FC Cincinnati are more than a professional soccer club; the Orange and Blue are a vital part of Cincinnati's vibrant community. The crown jewel of the Midwest, our city is a blend of diverse cultures, music, and art. As a club created for the people of Cincinnati, FC Cincinnati serve as a pillar in the community, embodying the evolving spirit and cultural transformation of the city.
The Canvas Kit was inspired by the diverse and thriving art community found in Cincinnati. The jerseys represent all the creatives, dreamers and superfans that make the Queen City special. On the pitch, FC Cincinnati do not just play, they create. And off the pitch, those who wear this kit are artists, leaving their mark on Cincinnati’s story. In blank spaces, inspiration thrives and magic happens.
This is not just a kit; it's a vibe, a rhythm, an expression, a lifestyle, a canvas waiting for each of us to write our own story and leave our own mark.
The chalk white-colored kit will be the first primarily white kit worn by FC Cincinnati since 2021. The FC Cincinnati crest is above the left hem, while the adidas logo is above the right hem and primary sponsor Mercy Health is in the center of the jersey in orange. The kit features adidas’ iconic 3-Stripes design in blue, outlined in orange, on both shoulders.
Taking inspiration from the artistic story that drives the 2024 Canvas Kit, each individual kit has a unique patterned orange and blue design trimming the sleeves, side panels and neck. The ‘All For Cincy’ jock tag brings a splash of energy from a paint drop hitting the canvas while a brush stroke on the back of the neck reads ‘Make Your Mark,’ encouraging each who wears the kit to be unique, creative and to tell their own story.
The uniquely-patterned orange and blue design trims the shorts and bottom of the jersey, while the blue 3-Stripes outlined in orange feature on the white shorts and socks.
FC Cincinnati will wear the Canvas Kit on Sunday, February 25 against Toronto FC at TQL Stadium in the club’s 2024 MLS Regular Season opener. Tickets are still available at FCCincinnati.com/Tickets.
