After receiving 51-percent of the fan vote on fccincinnati.com, Emmanuel Ledesma's 8th-minute wondergoal against Richmond Kickers on June 16 has been voted the Cincinnati Bell Goal of the Month for June 2018!
Ledesma opened the scoring against the Kickers in dramatic fashion with an audacious, curling effort from the left touchline that beat Richmond's goalkeeper Travis Worra. The goal, shown below, even landed in the top spot on ESPN SportsCenter's Top 10 Plays.
The same Ledesma goal was tabbed as the USL Goal of the Week for Week 14, garnering 51% of the league-wide supporter vote on uslsoccer.com. It was also shortlisted for the USL Goal of the Month for June, though ultimately came up short.
