FC Cincinnati fell to CF Montréal, 3-1, Saturday night at Stade Saputo. The Orange and Blue (8-9-9, 33 points) fell to Montréal (6-15-6, 24 points) for the first time since 2024.
Montréal went into halftime ahead, with Daniel Ríos scoring first for the hosts in the 25th minute. The Orange and Blue would equalize in the 64th minute, finally breaking through with Tom Barlow getting on the end of a cross from Gerardo ‘Dado’ Valenzuela. The goal marked Barlow’s 10th of the season in all competitions.
Montréal went ahead in the 72nd minute from the penalty spot, with Prince Owusu scoring a penalty kick. He would net a brace and a third goal for Montréal just three minutes later to give the match its final scoreline.
David Douděra made his debut for FC Cincinnati, coming on as a substitute in the 58th minute.
