Luciano Acosta is up for AT&T 5G 2023 MLS Goal of the Year for his superb solo goal against Charlotte FC on September 23 at TQL Stadium. Acosta took possession near midfield and dribbled past two defenders, bringing the Bailey to life driving to the goal, and cut past a third inside the box to deliver a world-class finish past goalkeeper Kristijan Kahlina.
Roman Celentano made five saves in May's Hell is Real win over the Columbus Crew, with his most vital save coming in second-half stoppage time. HIs reaction save off the line denied the Crew from an equalizer in the match's final moments and is up for 2023 MLS Save of the Year presented by Allstate.
