FC Cincinnati winger Calvin Harris underwent a successful arthroscopic surgical procedure on his meniscus Wednesday, the club announced today.
The procedure was performed on Wednesday morning by FC Cincinnati Chief Medical Officer Dr. Matthew Busam, at Mercy Health – West Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. The Middlesbrough, England native is expected to be sidelined for approximately six to eight weeks.
Harris has made four regular-season appearances, including three starts, with the Orange and Blue this season. Following his surgery, Harris has been added to the Injury List.
Franko Kovacevic has been removed from the Injury List and added to the active roster.
FC Cincinnati will return to action on Saturday, June 19 when the club hosts the Colorado Rapids at TQL Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised on WSTR 64, carried on the radio on ESPN1530, streamed regionally on fccincinnati.com/stream, out of market on ESPN+, while an audio stream will be available via the iHeartRadio app.
