Throughout the month of June, and year-round, FC Cincinnati supports the Pride platform by working closely with Cincinnati Pride to support LGBTQIA+ businesses and by hosting the Pride Match. This year's Pride Match, presented by Procter & Gamble, took place on June 3 where the Orange and Blue defeated Chicago Fire FC, 1-0.
A special ticket package opportunity allowed participating fans to receive a Pride merchandise item, and each purchase ticket helped benefit Cincinnati Black Pride. The FC Cincinnati Team Store and other mobile locations sold various MLS Pride items, including the pre-match Pride top worn by FC Cincinnati on the field and by teams around the league.
FC Cincinnati’s grassroots marketing program, Find FCC, visited several LGBTQIA+ businesses – Morsel and Nosh, &Sundries and OTR Stillhouse – to show support from the organization.
The FC Cincinnati Street Team and Gary the Lion earlier in the spring visited the Pink Party and Pride Night at the Museum, as well as the pride flag raising at City Hall on June 1. Throughout June, the Street Team and Gary will also be at various events, including the Cincinnati Pride Parade and Pride Festival downtown.
