CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati have recalled midfielder Tommy McCabe and have loaned midfielder Nazmi Albadawi to the USL Championship’s North Carolina FC. McCabe will be available for selection for FC Cincinnati’s match against the Colorado Rapids on June 1.
McCabe comes back to FC Cincinnati after making nine appearances, including eight starts, with North Carolina FC. The midfielder scored two goals – including the USL Championship Goal of the Week for Week 4 – during his time on loan. McCabe made three preseason appearances with the Orange and Blue before being loaned on Feb. 15.
Albadawi made his MLS debut in FC Cincinnati’s match against the New York Red Bulls on May 25. In his lone season with FC Cincinnati at the USL level in 2018, Albadawi scored 11 goals and added four assists in 27 games.
The midfielder spent the first four seasons of professional career with North Carolina FC (2014-17), where he earned NASL Best XI honors in 2016 and 2017.
