CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati have acquired $150,000 in General Allocation Money from Inter Miami CF in exchange for FC Cincinnati’s natural first-round selection (No. 3 overall) in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft.
The Orange and Blue currently possess three selections – Nos. 29, 53 and 81 – in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft.
Earlier tonight, Inter Miami CF also selected FCC defender Alvas Powell in the 2019 MLS Expansion Draft in the second round (third overall), meaning FCC will receive $50,000 in General Allocation Money from MLS as compensation for his selection.
FC Cincinnati will return to the field in early 2020 for their second MLS season. Season Ticket Memberships for the 2020 season are now on sale to the general public at fccincinnati.com/tickets or by calling 513-977-5425 (KICK). A 2020 Season Ticket Membership also secures fans’ place on the club’s priority list, which will be utilized when sales begin in the new West End Stadium for the 2021 season.
