CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati midfielder Emmanuel Ledesma has earned a place on Major League Soccer’s Team of the Week presented by Audi for Week 18. The midfielder was named to the team after recording two assists in FC Cincinnati’s 3-2 victory against the Houston Dynamo on July 6. This is Ledesma’s first Team of the Week inclusion this season.
Ledesma recorded his first assist of the match on Kekuta Manneh’s 29th-minute strike and picked up the game-winning assist when he provided the helper on Victor Ulloa’s 61st-minute goal. Following the two-assist performance, Ledesma leads all FC Cincinnati players with three assists this season.
FC Cincinnati next travels to face the Chicago Fire on Saturday, July 13. Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET, and the game will be televised on WSTR 64, carried on the radio on WDJO (99.5 FM, 107.9 FM and 1480 AM), streamed regionally on FloFC, out of market on ESPN+, while an audio stream will be available at TuneIn (WDJO) and fccincinnati.com.
After Saturday’s game, FCC will host D.C. United in a nationally televised contest at Nippert Stadium on Thursday, July 18.
