About the starters

Frankie Amaya, the No. 1 pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft, returns to the starting lineup to replace Caleb Stanko. Amaya’s last match was the July 6 win against the Houston Dynamo, but he was substituted after halftime after a hamstring injury.

About the bench

Roland Lamah is back on the bench for the first time since June 6 at New York City FC. During the match, the former Belgium international also injured his hamstring and was substituted during the second half.

About the absences

Greg Garza (calf) and Fatai Alashe (hamstring) are still unable to play with injuries.

Maikel van der Werff, who signed with FC Cincinnati on July 2, is in Cincinnati, but is still awaiting final paperwork before he can be added to the FCC roster and be eligible to play.
