FC Cincinnati players on loan totaled six minutes of action this past weekend in the USL Championship as only Hassan Ndam saw the field. Here’s this week’s update:
USL Championship
Ben Lundt
Position: Goalkeeper
Club: Louisville City FC
Result: 1-1 draw at Indy Eleven
Lundt is currently recovering after surgery and should be available for the reigning league champs later this month.
Nazmi Albadawi
Position: Midfielder
Club: North Carolina FC
Result: 1-0 win against Nashville SC
The Palestine international was an unused sub for North Carolina FC this past weekend. He had previously played in every USL Championship match with NCFC since he was loaned to the club from FC Cincinnati on May 30.
Hassan Ndam
Position: Defender
Club: Charlotte Independence
Result: 1-0 win against Memphis 901 FC
Ndam entered the match in the 84th minute as a substitute and helped Charlotte Independence earn a clean sheet against Memphis 901 FC.
The appearance was his first off the bench this season and fifth overall in the USL Championship.
Canadian Premier League update:
Emery Welshman
Position: Forward
Club: Forge FC
Result: 1-0 loss at FC Edmonton
Welshman didn’t play as he returned from international duty with Guyana at the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup. It was the first time the country played in a major international tournament, and Welshman played all three games.
