Forrest Lasso earning a clean sheet in his USL Championship debut and Nazmi Albadawi providing an assist were the highlights for FC Cincinnati players on loan this past weekend. Here's how they fared:
USL Championship
Forrest Lasso
Club: Nashville SC
Position: Defender
Result: 2-0 win against Indy Eleven
After joining Nashville SC on loan this past Thursday, Forrest Lasso made his 2019 USL Championship debut this season in Nashville's 2-0 win over Indy Eleven on Saturday night at Nissan Stadium.

The result was a massive one for Nashville, who sit fifth in the Eastern Conference standings on 35 points. Indy is third in the conference with 37 points. Depending on results next weekend, there’s a chance Lasso and Nashville jump to third in the conference next weekend.
Nazmi Albadawi
Club: North Carolina FC
Position: Midfielder
Result: 4-2 win against Atlanta United II
The Palestine international provided one assist in North Carolina FC’s big win over Atlanta United II on Saturday night. In the 14th minute, Albadawi found Steven Miller open in the box, who scored to make it 2-0 at the time
Overall, Albadawi played 81 minutes and completed 56 passes. He finished with an 86% passing accuracy.
Hassan Ndam
Club: Charlotte Independence
Position: Defender
Result: 1-0 loss at Birmingham Legion FC
The Cameroonian was not in Charlotte Independence’s 18 and was at FC Cincinnati training this past week. He is still on loan at Charlotte in the USL Championship.
Ben Lundt
Club: Louisville City FC
Position: Goalkeeper
Result: 3-0 loss at Loudoun County FC
Lundt is fully fit and available to play, but wasn’t included in the 18 for Louisville City FC on Sunday night.
The German goalkeeper had missed time with an injury that required surgery, but he’s healthy to return to the field. His last match was just prior to FC Cincinnati playing Louisville in the fourth round of the 2019 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on June 12.
On Sunday, Lou City trailed 1-0 before Alexis Souahy received a red card in the 30th minute. They conceded two more goals late in the match in the 3-0 loss to Loudoun County FC.
Canadian Premier League
Emery Welshman
Club: Forge FC
Position: Forward
Result” 1-1 draw at FC Edmonton
Welshman started as Forge FC’s center forward in a 4-3-3 formation and played the full match, finishing with no shots. That said, he was on the field to help the Hamilton-based club earn a road point after scoring in the 85th minute before conceding in the 88th.
The point was a good result for Forge, who still sit atop the Canadian Premier League standings for the Fall Season. They have 10 points from five matches, but second-place Calvary FC have the same amount from four games.
The clubs were supposed to meet soon, but that match was postponed so Forge FC could play the first leg of a Concacaf Champions League preliminary round match against Antigua GFC on Thursday night. The return leg at Antigua is Aug. 8.
