Three of FCC's 2019 MLS SuperDraft picks played this past weekend. Here’s a rundown of how they fared.
Tommy McCabe
Position: Midfielder
Club: North Carolina FC
Result: 1-1 draw against Charleston Battery
McCabe scored arguably the league’s goal of the week with a 93rd-minute volley to equalize the match. McCabe has scored twice for Carolina through three league games.
Additionally, he had an 89.7% passing accuracy, which was 88.9% in Charleston territory. He also produced one tackle and one interception.
Rashawn Dally
Position: Forward
Club: Memphis 901 FC
Result: 3-2 loss at New York Red Bulls II
Dally started and played the full match. He was booked in the 73rd minute. Overall, he finished with one shot on target and won three fouls.
Ben Lundt
Position: Goalkeeper
Club: Louisville City FC
Result: 3-2 loss against Birmingham Legion FC
Lundt started in City’s loss and produced two saves.
Logan Gdula
Position: Defender
Club: Phoenix Rising FC
Result: 2-2 draw against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC
Gdula is injured and didn’t play. He's recovering from a quadriceps injury and could play as early as this week. It would be his first professional match.
