CINCINNATI – FC Cincinnati goalkeeper Przemysław Tytoń has earned a place on Major League Soccer’s Team of the Week presented by Audi for Week 23. The goalkeeper was named to the team after recording four saves – including a pair of saves late into second-half stoppage time – in FC Cincinnati’s 2-2 draw against Columbus Crew SC on Aug. 10. This is Tytoń’s first Team of the Week inclusion this season.
Tytoń recorded a pair of first-half saves as FCC held onto a one-goal advantage heading into the break. With the scoreline level late in the match, Tytoń made saves in the ninth and 10th minutes of second-half stoppage time to prevent Crew SC forward Gyasi Zardes from giving the home side the lead. Tytoń’s four saves were his most since he made five stops in FCC’s season opener at Seattle on March 2.
